FAQ

Can I only purchase the materials if I'm a nail artist?

Anyone can purchase this product, including nail school students and self-nailers, but please carefully check the product details and make your own judgment as to whether you can use it before purchasing.

Can I sell chips without becoming an educator?

You are free to use the materials used in Remote Nail Tips. The copyright of the created tips belongs to the creator, so there are no restrictions on how they can be used or sold. However, only authorized dealers and educators may use the Remote Nail trademark logo to advertise the sale of materials or lessons. Please make it clear that these are your own lessons or sales.

Are there any regulations regarding the selling price of chips?

There are no regulations regarding standard prices. Just as the price of gel nails varies from salon to salon, the price of the finished tips is also left to each salon.
For example, we set up a separate menu for the cost of making the mold and model, and charge it only for the first time. Or, we set the price for the second set and after that lower, minus the cost of the mold and model. We also sell extra tips for changing just a few fingers, etc. One advantage of remote nail tips is that you can use one model multiple times to create many nail tips, so please make good use of it.

Can I use craft supplies for art?

Art can be created freely, including color, glitter, holo, and jewels.
Regarding clay, base and top gel, please only use those that have been used for Remote Nail Tips as Remote Nail Tips.
Please do not use clay as a substitute for craft clay or dental clay that cannot be placed in the mouth for making dentures, or other clay that has warnings against being used on the human body.

After applying art, can I use gel that I have on hand for the final top gel?

To make the most of the tip's softening effect when heated, be sure to use a top gel designed for remote nail tips for the final coat. Even if you use a semi-hard top gel for the finishing coat, it will often not lose its effectiveness, but it is known that the seal top of a hard gel that has a glass-like finish will lose its flexibility. Please be especially careful when extending the length.

Can I practice making chips using a model from the beginning?

Of course, please feel free to use it however you like. On the website, there is a statement that recommends that you try it for yourself first, as many nail artists have never used a tip before, both to show empathy for customers and because you may discover something unexpected when you try it for yourself.

No cream

It is a moisturizer for human skin, known as white petrolatum, made by bleaching and refining hydrocarbons derived from petroleum. Petroleum itself is originally a naturally occurring ingredient and contains petroleum-derived impurities (aromatic compounds, sulfur compounds, etc.), the amount of which varies depending on the degree of refining. It is refined to remove as many impurities as possible and finished in white.

The Flexy tip does not soften.

Normally, the part of the Flexi Tip that comes into contact with your natural nail becomes soft enough at a temperature of 40 degrees so that it can conform to the curve of your nail.
However, in order to maintain the ideal shape of the nail tip, the tip is made thicker than the base. In particular, for long tips, the tip is designed not to change shape much in order to maintain a beautiful shape.
Therefore, short tips such as round short will be soft overall, but in the case of Flexi, they will basically be shape-memory nail tips that can fit the curve of the nail (plastic nail tips will not soften even when heated, and will not crack or change shape).

There are traces of the tip of the Flexy tip having been torn off.
In order to offer them at a low price, we manufacture them in 10 sizes by putting them into a mold, so a support is required during manufacturing, and when they are separated, the borders may become burrs. In that case, we apologize for the inconvenience, but please lightly file the chip before creating it.

Furthermore, remote nail tips are made by creating a complete dummy and making each one with gel, so they are soft all over.

About the durability after attaching the tip

▪️If you use Stickies

If you use a nail attachment set and prepare the nails before you put them on, and then use a hair dryer to gently adjust the fit to your natural nails, it may be okay to leave them on for about three days. However, we do not recommend leaving them on for longer than that for hygienic reasons.
In daily life, if the back of the tip remains wet after washing your hands or taking a bath, the tip may easily come off if it is long. If you use alcohol disinfectant, the tip may turn white.

How many times can the nail tips be used?

It is difficult to give a general answer because it depends on the frequency of use and varies greatly from person to person, but you can continue to use your nail tips until they crack, break, or tear, or the art comes off, or until you decide that they are no longer usable. There is no specific number of uses that you should use before discarding them.
